Writing a Business Plan Empty Writing a Business Plan

Post by Metina Mon Nov 23, 2009 4:35 pm

Since returning from Fab., one thing that I noticed that myself and other face painters might need assistance with is writing a business plan, which is the first step to any successful business. How can you accomplish your goals if you have none?? LOL

I found this website and thought this might be a good place to start and I wanted to share it with others.

Writing a Business Plan Empty Re: Writing a Business Plan

Post by Guest Tue Nov 24, 2009 1:05 am

I cover creating a Business Plan, and provide a template for it with item by item instructions, in my book The Business of Face Painting.

I've ALWAYS had a Business Plan and update it every 5 years... it is really interesting to see how things change over the space of five years!!

I review it annually, and will make adjustments... but only do a re-write at the 5 year mark as it is a 5 year plan.

When I was first starting out my accountant STRONGLY recommended that I do one, as, if I was audited for my very small business operation it would prove business intentions.
