Yay!! Yes, post all spring pictures, let's kick winter out!
Can't really pick one... They're all great!
Would love to try some cameleon too, haven't tried that yet!
Thanks! I love different brands. Superstar (FAB) for their blending and gorgeous metallics, PartyXplosion (TAG) and DFX for lining.ninaschau wrote:beautiful Lizzie! whats your favorite paints?

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
Little duckies, little birds singing (I almost can hear them), the most beautiful fairy face I've ever seen and sunshine through my window... SPRINGTIME IS COMING!!!! (And yes, I know it's easier to say from here, in Spain ).- Lovely designs!

BEAUTIFUL, L!zzie and Angi!! Just BEAUTIFUL!!!
Keep them coming, I love springtime the best of all seasons! I'm even seeing some the the trees start to bud in Oregon. Makes me sooooo happy
Angi, I tried to collect all your *fairy dust creativity* as we passed the Marysville turnoff coming into Roseville from the airport!
Hope it works, I need it

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
L!zzie, I just showed my husband your springtime pictures...and mentioned your cancer. He thought your painting was beautiful (when he's not a tax consultant, he's out in our yard gardening, and is excited for tax season to end here on 15 April so he can get out there again!)
He just had another skin cancer removed from the top of his head. He grew up in a beach city in Los Angeles...and got waaay to much sun back in the days before sun screen!
He smiled and said, "Hey, maybe you can paint something on the top of my head."
See, you're even an inspiration to husbands

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
Ah Valerie, I'm sorry to hear your husband's dealing with cancer too. I hope they've been able to remove it thoroughly, and no new spots will be found!
Tell him I painted my own head with roses and flowers to have a picture of my 'baldie' not to confronting. It turned out beautiful! I painted the text "Que sera, sera" between the flowers!
It was fun and sad at the same time, but I'm glad I did it!
What are his favorite flowers?

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
L!zzie, You not only can paint your own face, but you did your head too?? Amazing!! And you have such a wonderful spirit to paint " "Que sera, sera" between the flowers!" Maybe you can make a new specialty in face painting...doing heads after chemo
His favorite flower is a sunflower...his favorite plant is a palm tree he's planted 135-ish in our yard in Oregon! the kind that can take cold weather. His most recent cancer went lots deeper than others have, so he's not thrilled with the scar he's going to have on the top of his head; but he has a wonderful spirit also.
Flowers are my favorite to paint, and you give me lots of inspiration!

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
Think I might be going to do that, Valerie.... I love painting bellies, because it's so special, and I think it's very special too, to paint the heads of woman being bald due to (breast)cancer!
I'm happy with the picture of my painted head. It's just that hubbie finds it personal and isn't that enthousiastic about posting this onto the WWW. I love him very much, he's such a big support and taking so good care of me. It's a small favour not posting this picture. Maybe in some time, when things aren't that 'new' anymore!
Please, give your husband a very big hug and tell him, I'll paint him a sunflower one of these days!

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
Thank you, L!zzie! my pleasure to pass a hug on to him.
and I'll look for the time when you might be able to share that painting and understand that your husband feels it it too personal for now.
I think it would be so beautiful to have a group of ladies that have had chemo painted with your wonderful paintings!!

Re: (Even more!) Springtime!
L!zzie, He said they are Beautiful! And that you are an excellent painter.
You are such a thoughtful person to do that.
Now if I could just paint like you...next time he falls asleep watching a movie I could sneak one on the top of his head
