loew cornell brushes
ok ok shoot me ....but ehm.... when I was watching youtube movies about facepainting I saw that a lot of the peolpe use the yellow brushes from loew cornell.
Here in the netherlands I can't find them anywhere !
So i'm searching the net to buy them ( i know they sell them here in de fpfshop but 35 dollars shipping is a little bit too much )
But when I search for brushes I see sooooooo many of them. But not specified facepainting brushes ? Only the one for normal paintings?
Do I search the wrong way or am i saying something stupid now ....?

Re: loew cornell brushes
I like the loew cornel, masters touch, simmons. They are all regular brushes...you just have to try a few. I had the same problem not long ago lol.
Re: loew cornell brushes
Hey Daphne,
if you want to try the Loew Cornell, I just ordered 3 from the site of DAgrime under sillyfarm. This is the only place that I can find that Sells the Loew Cornell nrushes in Holland. The shipping costs are €7,- I think. But if you order above €50 shipping is free. Here you can also find the brushes from sillyfarm for the big flowers (I love these) and also the rainbow cakes from Sillyfarm, I also own a few and I must say the colors are beautiful.
Let me know if you wil order the loew cornell and what you think, I will let you know what I think, when I get them 9just ordered them today).

Face Paints Direct in the UK sell them too, but it's probably cheaper to get them there in Holland. I use the Gold Grip (795) brushes from Loew-Cornell often, and really love them. The 7000 series are awesomesauce, too. x

Re: loew cornell brushes
If you can not get the LC yellow handle white nylon brushes in your area, look for the bristles to match. The white nylon is often used for fabric and ceramic painting,
This is actually the brush Mark Reid started with, and is popular with new painters and those who want a stiffer brush than say the golden taklon bristles.

Re: loew cornell brushes
When Dagrime.nl partnered with sillyfarm, didnt that open up the sillyfarm products for you in Holland?
Re: loew cornell brushes
I do not use any named brushes. I just went to an art shop and bought some rounded nylon brushes in different varieties. I found it cheaper and they do the same job!

Re: loew cornell brushes
Thanks everybody
I contacted the woman where I used to take courses and asked her advice and she said about the same as you pebbles
Although........she also sells her own line of brushes which look a lot like the white loew cornell. So maybe I'll buy that
