My first free publicity!

Ok so I was contacted by a freelance journalist for the Beacon News and Naperville Sun and wants to feature me in an article on unconventional jobs. I know that is not a big deal to some of you vets but for me it is HUGE! She sent me a list of questions and needs me to also give her a pic that can be printed with the article. Any ideas on what pic I should send her? Please help!!!

That's awesome!! I'll have to look back at some of your pics, but I would look at them and pick the one that jumps out of you and says "pick me, pick me!"

Using one that has you painting in it looks best imo. If you have the time before the pic is due, paint your best design on a friend (or willing kid) and pose like you're painting the design with a big smile on your face! That way you're controlling what gets published not just picking the best option of what you have.

My profile pic was done exactly that way. The design had already been done, I just added a few dots while the pic was being taken. (I forgot that was my profile pic, duh! lol)

Ok so most of what she put on her article is hogwash and not what I told her but, it was free.. Anyone else ever have an experience with a writer like this lol? Aurora right? are you going to face and body convention in Florida this year? and yes, I would be glad to help you do some onestroke painting..roses. I may not be Donna Dewberry...but I keep working on being close! lol

Your roses are GREAT I loved what you did with your fatmax and would love to be able to make mine look that purdy! Yea, I am in Aurora...I forgot that I updated my location. It used to just say Chicago area but I really want to meet some more painters darn it! Quite a few in the city but I rarely make it out there and when I do it is usually a family outing...

well i hate my son is moving farther away. but his way i think i will get quality time with them ... and pick up some face painting jobs once i learn the area! lol he works a Avaistar ..think that is how it is spelled? anyway. I have wanted to see the musicial... Million $ Quartet for the longest time. so this way i will get to see it!!!! I know what you mean.. wanting to do somethng...but it ends up being on the wrong day or a family affair etc. looking forward to meeting you someday!

My Mom and Step Dad work at the Paramount theatre where the Million Dollar Quartet plays. I want to see it to and could probably even score some free tix. They offer all the time...I went to see the Shangha Circus and Josh Turner absolutely free.

Oh I could go for that!!! lol. I am such an Elvis fan. even have a grand daugher named Presley. love my daughter for doing that!!!! ... I saw him 4 times!... am a 50's 60's girl STILL...lol..okay I want to also be an Island girl too...lol... so see you this summer sometime!!! or sooner if you can get some great tickets at discount prices!.. lol
