Question about safe face painting glitter.
I remembers when I first started face painting, I read somewhere that to be considered safe face painting glitter, apart from polyester, the glitter need to be under certain size in mm. Could anybody let me know the number? Is it 0.04 or 0.08mm or something else?. Many thanks.

.004 is supposed to be safe even for contact lens wearers. Many of the larger particle size glitters will say "Not safe for use around eyes". I've seen that on some Wolfe and Tulip glitters as well as some at Sally beauty.

Re: Question about safe face painting glitter.
The only experience I had was large cut glitter that I put on my daughters mouth--she inhaled and the only thing I can figure is that it cut her throat cause she cried and complained about the pain for the next 3 hours---
It was professional face paint, but the large cut is scary to me---now I ONLY by small cut glitter.
I personally like Mama Clown glitter!
