Also since someone asked this, I consider Vintage anything older than 1975, but if you REALLY want to do something from 1976, I won't quibble.

I really like the vintage idea as well. I really don't have a lot of holiday work because I have been focusing on the forum, my efforts with Fabbulas and my shop, but I really wanted to come up with some eye designs utilizing some of the art I found.

Here are a few others:

Hi Metina,
I made a slideshow at the site you suggested but I can't figure out how to attach it. Can you help? Thanks!

I believe you have to paste that into the section that looks like a little film strip. You have to hit "post reply" instead of the little instance reply box after the messages. This will give you the expanded choices of buttons starting with the "B" for bold.

Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I think that will work but then it will just be a link to that site. Is that Ok? Also, I tried the insert image button. It wants me to insert a url. How do I post a picture from my computer?

Okay, I just checked the FAQ and see that I can't post a pic from my computer. Any suggestions of a public site I can upload to?

There is a little picture for the image icon, press that first, put your link there

Details/Rules/Prize 4153074853_9d09c87f51

The link also has to be not the flickr page link but the page that actually has the picture hosted (can get that by right clicking on image and choosing view image then copy the http address above to paste in the image which in your case is:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2599/4153074853_9d09c87f51.jpg

To post from my computer I have used the little icon above beside the image picture that says Host an image. I upload the image from my computer using the file option, hit Host it, I usually copy the bottom option there and paste that into the link for images.

I tried to embed the slide show, but I am not savvy enough for that. If I create the slide show myself there are options for posting, once I have finished the slide show, it gives me the option to copy a pile of text/code to paste into the posts here, but I don't know how to get that for someone else's creation.
hope that all makes enough sense to have helped some.

Yes, you can post pics from your computer. It is cumbersome and frustating to learn this, but super simple once you have done it a couple of times. Please read how to post pics under "using this forum"

It is essentially clicking the 15th button in that is the pic with the disc. Select this size(the smallest is good). You will be given three lines of code. Copy the LAST or bottom one. Click the 16th button or the pic of the pic, paste the code you copied into the box that pops up and click "OK" preview. Don't worry, you'll get it.

Thanks Metina!
I got the pictures pasted in from flikr but they are not as big as the one you got here. I tried to increase the size but it wouldn't go any bigger than they are now. Not sure how you got such a nice big image. Ugh!
I'll keep playing with the slide show to see if I can find that pile of code.
Thanks so much for your help!
