paradise colors to recommend?

Hi,
I now have a few different brands, I still need some solid paradise colors.
last week my Kryolan order came, and while i really like them, I dont know if I like them enough to justify the price, and I am looking for solids that are easy to wash off, like snaz, but a creamier paint, so I have plans to get the paradise beach berry and porto and white and light pink, any other colors you recommend?

Porto is pretty, but I find myself reaching for my wild orchid more often. I like their lagoon blue, the lime green, and mango is awesome for tigers. In contrast, I don't really like their bronze or silver.

I ask this same question on Facebook too. I was thinking of buying a 12 pallet and want people's favorites. I already have black and wild orchid because I'm a big fan of Mark Reid and he uses them a lot. So far they've suggested white, lime, berry red, red, dark pink, teal, lagoon blue, mango and Mark also uses yellow a lot.

I'll be interested to see the responses too. I'd also like to know what colors you WOULDN'T buy again. I thought olive would be good for Hulk but it's a little splotchy...but I might be using it incorrectly...so I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, dark pink, too! I also use a mixture of paradise white and wolfe metallic white together when I sponge white for skulls, tiger muzzles, etc. It doesn't get blotchy like wolfe/tag matte white and the metallic sheen just makes it pop a little bit more and it's more forgiving.

my most used are:
Light pink
Dark pink
White
Storm cloud
Violet
Purple
Yellow
Orange
Lime.
Wild orchid
TeaL
Dark green

I have blues and use them but tend to use more tag blues more often I say this as I havn't put any of the blues on the list of most used.

I love and use beach berry but honestly am still won over by tag red for spiderman and darth maul. so I use more tag red. I like both and use both but I am not powering through that colour like others - it is very pretty though.

I do like 95% of the colours - I think I have them all or one or two colours missing, except the metalics only have a few
so I put down my most used instead of favs.


Moving to the other end of the scale.

not favs as in I wouldn't buy it again without a good reason too:

Felou - If I used only paradise, I would but as I use tag too, I won't.
Deep sea - I like it, I just don't use it.
Foxy - again not using it.
olive - not really using it
Prisma twist - IMHO I prefer fairy floss which is similar
Prisma fleur -I like Tag one strokes better and that is all I use it for, in truth.
Prisma Flash - I like it but just not using it.
copper penny - prefer other brands in a similar colour
silver bullet -Other brands prefered ( Fab as we all know kicks but here.)
Gold- again other brands prefered.
I really do like them all so tried to approach this list the way I do when I reorder.

WHITE!!! A must!! Especially the tigers!

Porto was the first color I bought and it was awesome!
I love the blend of White, Yellow. Orange, and Mango together!! Awesome tigers!!!

I also like Porto but find I prefer Wild Orchid. Just looks better with pink and purples. Porto is great for warmer colors. I really like their black. It seems to act more like Wolfe or DFX but with the creamier consistency. I've actually gone to that as my go to for outlining. It doesn't seem to stain badly, either. Dark Pink is so nice and bright I think I'll be starting to use that for my "neon". Mango is also such a nice look for tigers and animals - it's not as brassy as regular yellow. Almost looks like a pastel color. The white is nice for bases (but I've been using Starblends for that lately). I like Paradise.

OH yeah - I made a homemade split recently with Sky, Dk Pink, Mango and a little white. I think it would be so nice for butterflies and rainbow tigers. Looking forward to using it!

If your only getting 12 colors, don't do both red and beach berry. They are different and you may end up wanting both but if limited to 12 get one, most recommend beach berry and the tropical color line in general.

so, I bought white, berry red, porto, mango and light pink, i love the creaminess, after I play some more, ill see if I like them enough to order teal, wild orchid, amazon green, and I dont know what else yet, maybe twist?

Good selections! Again, you'll love Wild Orchid and probably Dark Pink as well. And black. Have fun playing with them!

update, I am loving these paints, my favorite of any brands, ready to get some more, maybe I should earn some dollars first? lol

I use the true rainbow a lot, Arc en ceil, I think. It lasts forever. I use white for muzzles and hello kitties, and black for batman. I also like Mango.

I have decided that Paradise is my fave, I loove everything about them. and love the new brilliants, am building up my paradise as the others run out

Hello girls, I would love to know if you can you tell me if the paradise has perfume on it? are they like dimond FX or more like snazaroo? I am thinking to buy the wild orchid, coral and mango, I just love the colors, and also I am thinking to give a try on their reds... I am looking for a good bloody one, but not sure, I use TAG and Diamond FX, I just ordered some Wolfe, FAB ocean and one arty cake to give them a try, hope to received them next week.... but I am not so sure about paradise, it seems to me like they are more powderly? I really appreciate any advise !!!... thank you in advance and Happy Sunday !!!

Paradise is definitely not powdery....more creamy than Wolfe, DFX, and TAG. It does have a coconut scent. I don't have a Paradise red so I can't comment on that. For blood, I use Wolfe red or Cameleon blood red.

Paradise is very creamy, so it blends beautifully and feels nice on the skin. When you heard powdery, it may be the starblends you are thinking of made by paradise, that's different than the regular cake makeups
The mango is awesome, I love paradise.
You should get a couple and see what you think

Ok, it is clear for me now, and yes maybe I got confused by the starblends and the regular Paradise cake, and I absolutely will try the regular ones !!! I really will love to try some of the colors thank you Nina !!! Elsa
