New logo some opinions please

One of my friend design this

In my very non-professional opinion...I had to work to make out the letters. It looks a little too busy.

I agree, it is a bit hard to make out...maybe if the text was above and under the design?

I like the paint splat...just because it looks like my table when I am done

Try losing the big blue circles on the butterfly wings and make the wings a varigated blue color...instead of the brown. Think that will make the words easier to read...and the blue will tie in with the paint on the paintbrush tip.

Yes...very unprofessionally

I play with the pictures in Picasa 3...move them into Power Point...add in wording...save the single slide as a JPEG and then wait for the Staples and Vista Printing Websites to tell me that my resolution is not good enough. LOL

I think the words should be a bit more centered if possible, but prob. not possible with the brush in there.

The off-centeredness kind of bothers me. And remember, if this is a logo, you're going to want to use it in several sizes. I think if you made this logo much smaller, it would turn into a muddy blur. I think you need to pick either the words or the butterfly and then design around that.

I like the concept of the butterfly body being a paint brush, haven't seen that before (I'm sure there is, I just haven't seen it myself.) I like that the wings are very simple and graphic which goes with a very graphic font; but, the peacock spots being turned at angles is distracting. The white ferrule is getting lost, should be a silver or other color to make us realize it's a brush. Not a fan of the splat.

Is "by Brenda" part of your logo? What is your actual business name that you are going to register with the state? Can it be "Fun Faces Face Painting" instead of using your name? If you are going to use your name then say "Brenda's Fun Faces" or "Faces by Brenda" and go for it.
