Set-up Facepaint
I have tried to make some pictures of my set-up. I would really like to hear what you think. Both about the set-up, but also the pictures, since I plan on sending them to the event companies. I also need on with me, but that has to wait to a day where I did get enough sleep...
(the close-up and the packed version is just for you, not for the event companies)
They are at my gallery at this site, looking forward to hear your thoughts =)

Wow!!!! Gorgeous set up!!! (Don't the detailz have to be shaken down after stored upside down.) Love the alum director chair and suitcase table with legs. Your banner is very professional. I like the hanging mirror backdrop too. Very clever!
Always a class act Lone!!! I like the waist tool belt too. Awesome - you probably got that from your makeup artistry background and training.
p.s. and your new snow family pregger avatar is too adorable!!!!!

I love it....the table is awesome, tell us more
The display stand and hangers....tell us more about them too.
Your set up is amazing.
How long did it take you to get it to this point?

Re: Set-up Facepaint
wow - I really like the set-up!
It looks a heck of alot easier to carry than a table and two folding chairs!

Re: Set-up Facepaint
Nice compact setup! Love your waist brush holder that also hangs from the chair - very innovative & just too cool ; )

Re: Set-up Facepaint
Thank you.
The bag (also have a smaller one from the same company), table and chair I got from http://www.cantonionline.it/web/
I don't know if they have a vendor in the states, but I would recommend the equipment. Got mine for around tree years back and it has been dragged around to everywhere! (there is a shoulder back for the chair, but I find it too time consuming taking in and out) And it still looks good.
The banner I got from Vistaprint.
I don't really find the need to shake the detailz more than if they was stored the other way.
For doing makeup I normally don't have a normal waist brush holder, but one that include a lot of pockets for holding everything. I can't remember the brand, but it is very practical. But often it is just standing in the drawer, unless the set is far away.
This is not on the chair when I use it, that was just for display. But around my waist. That way I have them with my when doing designs on people legs/ankles (Very popular in the summer)
The stands are for holding my studio lamps, but they works fine for the other. I made the displays myself. Folded they don't take up more space than a normal A4 binder. The laminated sheets are just pinned into place. The I have sowed rows of Velcro on, and the same on the back of the display heads, so I easy can change them.
I'm really happy you like it =)

Re: Set-up Facepaint
I've got a similar "tool belt"... but haven't used it in years! Since I sit to paint it isn't pracitical.
I see you have one of those leather brushes too!!! What do you use it for specifically? I picked one up when I was in the UK at the FACE Conference from Dauphines and have been playing with it... but haven't really figured it out yet.

I got mine there too. I use it to ad texture to monsters. Purple/blue on green. Looks good, and take no time =)
Re: Set-up Facepaint
Will have to give that a shot... I was playing around making bushes and snow with it... a little messy I thought.

Thanks. It is more or less the same setup I use when I'm out as makeup artist. Just without the displays ;-)
Re: Set-up Facepaint
I found an inexpensive waist brush holder similar to the one in your set up...
Waist Brush Holder
It was $9.99 + shipping. Not quite as many pockets as yours but close enough for me
