How to best use facebook

I know facebook is a great marketing tool, but I don't feel like I know how to use it that way...I have a page, but have pretty much neglected it since it's creation. Do any of you feel like you have a lot of success with FB in terms of marketing, getting new clients, or getting your name out there? It seems like a no brainier..but I just don't know the best way to utilize what it has to offer.

There is an art to it for sure.
mine is slowly starting to gain interest. i've gotten more inquiries through it than anything other method for the past few weeks.
Share the begezuz out of it.. put the address on everything
And make sure you update it regularly (i suck at that part so far) just a little something for people to look at when they come visiting

If you haven't done so already: 1. Create a business facebook page. 2. Create a personal facebook page. 3. Try to get as many personal facebook friends from the area in your targeted market as you can. 4. Have your personal facebook page like your business facebook page. 5. Post party tips, jokes, party games, cake recipes, face painted pictures, whatever you think will interest your targeted market. Be sure to make the post public. 6. Sign into your personal facebook page and go to your business facebook page. Have your personal facebook page like and share the post on your business facebook page. Now it will show up on your personal page where all these people can see it. 7. Encourage your friends on your personal facebook page to also like and share the post. This allows it to reach people you don't know. If you have a lot of "likes" on your business page, I don't think you need to do all of this. But in the meantime this can help build your business page "likes."

Every party I've done so far, (Which isn't a lot, 'cause I've only been "advertising" for a couple of months) has been through my Facebook page. It really DOES work!

I get inquiries on both my business page and my personal page. It does work.

Hey guys! This has been on my mind a TON lately! What I want to do though, is be able to tag the people that book parties (after the party) so that all of their friends (whom I don't know of course) will see cute pics and want to like my page/book me too! But I'm not sure how to approach this...ask the parent at the party if they will like my page? But even when they do...sometimes fb won't let me tag anyone on my business page. Do we have to be personal friends on fb too? Not sure that's professional "can I friend you on fb...oh and then can you like my business page too?" does anyone have any experience with this?

Zeebee, if i just paid you to paint, surely I could do that favor.


I haven't utilized fb for past clients because I relocated, but I certainly direct them to my website to rate and provide feedback.

They might like the ease of adding me through Facebook better.
