How often do use Snaz?

I only have the red, black and white. To be honest I only use them for practice, and the basic colors are readily available in the local craft stores.

Every Time I use white For anything but line work..

I think the Snaz red is great, but I use more my Wolfe, DFX, or TAG.

I use the white, red and black often for bases. They seem to go on the smoothest and they are easy to come by locally, so I don't feel so bad when I am generously sponging it on...and I love them for the younger kiddos to because how easily they wash off. I haven't had them in my kit long but they will stay for sure.

I like Snaz for bases - washes off easily (I've never had any colour stain, not even once!), blends beautifully. I don't like it for line work though - I'm not able to make sharp points or fine lines well with it, and it tends to reactivate the colours underneath. I think it has its place in a kit.

Of course, I live in the UK so it's also very inexpensive for me to buy Snazaroo - as in, 18ml for under 3.00 GBP for the classic colours!

The fact that it melted all over when I packed up was enough to discourage me. (And that was in Colorado---can't imagine the nightmare in a warm location!)

i vote for snazaro, but honestly i'm a newby in facepainting and didn't try yet any other brand. but i like use on kids

you guys often mentioned that the white the snazaroo is pretty good. i just have a "kids" kit from snazaroo, but i couldn't make nice and smoot cover on my face with it...

Seeing as I like one strokes & pearls for bases, very rarely do I use it. I do like it for the white & red however

I have a few colors in my kit, but they are only from when I ran out of a color I needed and had to run to the local craft store to fill in. Once I get the color I need in the mail in either Tag, Wolfe, or FAB, I give the Snazaroo to my daughter, or use it for practice. I really hate using it at all. I hate the consistency.

I use it. About 50% of my working kit is currently Snaz colours. I use the white, black, red, lime green, yellow ochre, purple, ALL the sparkle and electric colours, and lots of others (I have the pro-palette.)

I use the black for line work quite easily - years of practice and technique. I prefer to use it on children.

While it is now available at Michaels (at least the basic colours in 18ml) I will continue to order it as there is at least a $3 difference PER CAKE!!

I actually have quite a bit of Snaz in my kit. It has it's definite place.

I have the basic colors and don't mind them but I don't like them as much as wolfe. I find they don't sit on top of each other as nice, and they sort of fade into the skin quickly.

Like everyone said: I use them for base or when m kit misses a color and I need a color, real fast! I buy them at my local arts & crafts store, not online. Just sayin'

I used to use the red for Spidey, but now I use red Starblends. So Idon't use Snaz much at all. I think I have brown and Ocre still in my kit. I do use those for several designs, but I'll be replacing them after they get all used up.

love it for kids! Belgium is cold enough not to have it melt in summer...
I like that it comes off so easily, and most of all I feel safe using it.
However, I almost always combine it with linework in the more pigmented brands, if i put those over the Snaz, they won't stain so much.

I have never tried Snaz, but to say that I never will, that is a bit hard/harsh to say.... who knows, maybe someday???? Snaz is not a brand that is sold in Holland, I think....

I only use the Snaz red for spiderman. I love the larger gram size amounts that come in the thicker, smaller-diameter translucent pots. I hate the blue plastic bases of the small gram size as the paint shatters in my kit.

I have never tried it. I use Wolfe.

I would say 50% of my kit is snaz and I like it for alot of things...but i am finding it difficult to find the colors I want (and I'm not a fan of ordering from SF...and not sure where else to get the good colors! Snaz Turquoise, I need you! lol)

I have a lot of it it in my paint drawer but none of it in my working kit. It primarily only gets used for practice and to make mini kits for my daughter. I was all Snaz all the time when I got started, but I haven't worked with in in the field in a couple of years.
