Snaz Paints
I was just at my local Hobby Lobby and they have ALL their single color 18ml snaz paints clearanced to $4.79 from the original $7.99. Might want to check your local stores if you like Snazaroo...I stocked up!!! Might try making my first splits or 1 strokes...
Re: Snaz Paints
Yes, ours had them marked down to under $3. Sadly they only had a few left.
Wonder why they would get rid of a nice product like Snazaroo and keep the Tulip paints... ugh.

Re: Snaz Paints
im with you Doe...snaz is much better...all though the tulip black is really nice..and easy to get off...with no stain..don't know about the rest of the colors..but also there is not much paint in them
Re: Snaz Paints
I noticed that as well Barb! They package it as 18ml which is what snazaroo is but it sooo much less paint in the tulip cakes. I have only used the black and white when I was in a pinch, the black was decent and the white covered ok but they seem to fade away pretty quickly. The hobby lobby by me had a few of each snaz in light blue, orange, black, red, white, green and I think even the purple. They weren't as cheap as what you scored though Doe $3 I would have took them ALL!
Re: Snaz Paints
Hahaha yea I saw that dilemma in another thread thanks for the heads up A New Face! My daughter loves your avatar btw... she just said "ohhh pretty!"
Re: Snaz Paints
Snazaroo is not very good for splits. It's ok for rainbow cakes on a sponge, but not so much for one stroke. It has to be worked a lot and relOaded a ton, and it's not so bright. I found it very frustrating. On another note I did pick up s white and green snaz clearanced to 2.70. I like the tulip white and black a lot, the silver is great, and the neon yellow is pretty too, any other color stains terrible, even yellow. Originally the packages said non staining, now they say may stain. I also purchase their body glue.
Re: Snaz Paints
Thank you, and your daughter, it was hard to paint that on myself. I mutilated my first snaz kit, after freezing it was def alot easier and I came up with better results. I made spin cakes for jewels so easily. I used a clean fresh un used tampon plunger to make perfect little circles. Re: Snaz Paints

There is a definite upside for them to keep the Tulip and getting rid of the Snaz...
The moms who see our work at venues who think they can do what we do and so decide that THEY will face paint at little Susie's birthday party will buy the Tulip, use the Tulip, throw the Tulip at the dog when they find they can't get it off their kid's faces, and hopefully will pick up the phone and call us for little Mikey's party the next month!
Re: Snaz Paints
Lol that's animal abuse...and child abuse to put the tulip on a kid's face! I made that mistake and gave them to my kids to use on the practice head....I kept the white though. It works ok when I'm in a pinch but it actually fades away to easily.Miss Ronnie wrote:throw the Tulip at the dog when they find they can't get it off their kid's faces, and hopefully will pick up the phone and call us for little Mikey's party the next month!
Re: Snaz Paints
Okay, everybody, get ready to answer the question "How do you get green Tulip face paint off of a dog?"
Tell them it comes off easily when you hire a professional face painter. In the meantime, they can buy some little purple pants for their dog and parade the pup around as the Incredible Angry Green Man (am I allowed to say "Hulk?")

Re: Snaz Paints
Wow, I just checked their site and it looks like they are only going to carry the small palettes.
That stinks! I often picked them up for backups.

Re: Snaz Paints
The snaz 18ml cakes are $10 in the forum shop which is less than the $10 you paid AND you would be supporting this awesome meeting place!anikaj wrote:i checked the site too and cant get it because it seems that they selling it in the store but i can't get it online ...... sooo sucks
