What a wonderful publication. This is a must have and less expensive than many of the step by step books on the market. Only $10 each from profacepaints.com(Jodi Carr).

Positives
1. Very professionally made
2. Loads of step by steps
3. Wide variety of styles and artists

Negatives
1. Doesn't show products, tools or written directions

Scale of 1-10: 9

I had problems with the URL you mentioned. It worked using www.profacepaint.com though! Smile (no "s")

cool stuff though! Smile looks like a fun magazine.

I have all of the issues... and I do like them. There are some really fantastic designs in there. Personally, though, out of the four issues there are perhaps three or four designs I might try out... maybe. I haven't yet...

But is it is a great tool for inspiration.

I was impressed with the amount of designs in the magazines, and there are some really cute designs in several issues that I definitely want to try out. I used the pumpkin mask from the Halloween issue this last week at a large festival. Got lots of comments on it! Also used the angel/devil girl face (can't remember the name) and did quite a few of those.
