Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
Wolfe FX limited edition paints-Deep Sea(navy blue) and Deep Raspberry(dark purple) - 30g-They are beautiful rich colors, nice and dark for accents and line work where black may seem too drastic. I whipped out my brushes as soon as I opened the box and painted my daughters arm to test them out. Great coverage, smooth consistency, same quality as my other Wolfe paints. Being Wolfe colors the Deep Sea did stain my daughter's arm a bit, but this seems typical of Wolfe blues.
Mehron Metallic Powder- Gold-1oz(30g) Lovely gold, looks like gold leaf when used over Pros-Aide(not sure how it holds u , but I will update later) and gives and amazing sheen over paint. Mixing medium available for use with an airbrush or to paint it on(I did NOT purchase this). The only downside IMO is that it gets everywhere! I had gold on me before I even opened the bottle, I suggest opening it over the sink. I had no trouble washing it off my hands with soap and water.
Slice of the Moon Metallic Powder/Mica-Black Luster- 1oz(30g)- Great gunmetal color, looks good over paint and holds up well over Pros-Aide. Nice wide mouth container. Leaves residue around the tattoo wich was a bit difficult to get off, but overall decent product.

Re: Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
Thanks for the review--just pulling together my Halloween order!
Re: Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
That deep sea blue is just what I've been looking for! The deep raspberry looks almost identical to the FAB plum...at least it does to me... which I use as an alternative to harsh black for outlines at times.
Re: Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
I have been looking for nice rich colors and they were the answer. I just did a simple eye design today with sea green sponging and the deep sea for the swirls. It was gorgeous. So happy with it.
I used the deep raspberry on myself today and had staining in the areas that were not on top of a base. Still a lovely color, but will definitely only use on top of a base.
Rhonda- I will have to try the FAB, does it stain at all? That is my biggest issue with Wolfe.

Re: Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
Does anyone have both Wolfe deep raspberry and fab plum? I'd love to see a side by side swatch!
Re: Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
I have Wolfe deep raspberry and Wolfe plum....they are quite different.
Re: Limited edition wolfe colors, metallic powders
Sandie, Thank you! But I meant FAB plum. They look close as far as I can tell, but I'm hoping for a side by side.
