New Items in my kit this week

ok, given what I have learned reading this forum I have new this week: 2 kryolon, 2 new TAG pearl, Starblends, lollipop sponges, pressed powder puffs, surgical scrub brushes, sheets of foam, intense colored eyeshadows and soft,fuzzy daubers-which work great for glitter. I love this forum, and I especially love the starblends-oh, and Ziva Blue from FAB...YUMMY!

Nice haul. That blue is very pretty. Let me know if it stains. I need a good blue to use for splits. You'll love the scrubbies...another thing I'm addicted to.

Have the scrub things worn down anyones brushes that they noticed? Still worries me a bit...

My brushes have not been harmed by the scrubbies...

When I paint on other surfaces with acrylics I used to use a ceramic ginger grater in my water tub... the surgical scrubbies are so much gentler.

iNTENse colored shadow? from Mehron as a palatte or singles? And scrubbies care to share I would like to know about that??? Oh and was this buy all at a one stop shop? oh and have fun with your new Items

What do you use the surgical scrub brushes for?

They glue in the bottom of your rinse basin, and you run your brushes through the bristles to clean the paint off your brushes as you work. See this:

artsy lady-the shadows are actually from the cosmetic store, ulta and are called something like that. they are quite pigmented and I was very impressed with the silver glitter one. They are Ulta brand and on sale this week.

I love them and the starblends.

The Ziva blue DID NOT stain my skin. The kryolon teal did.
The Ziva blue is by far my new favorite color! LOVE it!

Denise, I have the Ziva and used it a couple times on my lil one, See avatar) If I use your method of lather and lift with damp cloth, no staining on her at all...

I have Ziva Blue on order - can't wait for it to arrive. I've read lots of good things about it. Nice haul there!

Do you use normal cosmetic eyeshadows for shading, or something else? Are they generally good on kids' skin?
