Hello from Southern Wisonsin

My name is Nikki, AKA Scribbles.

I have been painting for almost 20 years. I usually paint winter scenes and cartoony characters on wood, glass, lightbulbs, metal, and many other surfaces. 2 years ago a friend asked me to help her paint faces at a festival. I told her I have never painted skin (other than a little halloween face here and there). She told me that once I tried it I would be hooked. She was right Very Happy

I have been painting faces (and other body parts) for 2 years this month, although I didn't really get serious about it until the beginning of 2012. I have been soaking up every bit of knowledge I can find and have found a WEALTH of it here, at FPF. I have been "spying" from a distance for a couple of months now, and think I am finally brave enough to make my debut - with a little push from Suzy Sparkles Wink

I work for my 17 year old son, Dayton, AKA Dabadooya. He twists and I paint. I have been known to enlist my husband, John, to paint occasionally, too.

Looking forward to being inspired, as well as hopefully being an inspiration to others someday, as well.
