Hello from Ireland!
Hello!
I am a beginner face painter from Co Meath Ireland. I have been face painting for about a year, mostly on my kids, myself, and a practise head! I have my first volunteer gig at the end of the month and am so excited! This has to be one of the most enjoyable crafts I have ever done and I am loving every minute of it but still have a lot to learn. I am so delighted to find this forum as of yet I don,t know any other face painters and I am amazed at the amount of talent and helpful advice on this forum. I look so forward to chatting to you guys!
Have a great day!

Hi Gisrus
I got my head from dauphines.co.uk, it's a grand tool for when I,m sick of painting on myself! Was not cheap with the postage included, about euro 50,
I try to practise on my kids as well but they sick of it lol! You can get heads on Ebay.co.uk, again postage makes them a bit expensive but haven't found anywhere in ireland that you can buy them!

Re: Hello from Ireland!
Thanks for that. I reckon I'll have to bite the bullet and order one.
I order all my paints, except Snazaroo, from
http://www.facepaint-uk.com/
Snaz is readily available at 5 different shops here in Galway city. I love the sparkle paints.

I think it's worth having one, I find if I paint too much on myself I come in a rash as I,ve sensitive skin! They are not as good as real skin but I still find it a good tool to practise with.
I find facepaint-uk great. Do you find that your snaz paints go all gooey in the sun? I know we don,t have that problem too much in Ireland lol, but I did my first fair last week, it was very humid and my paints went to goo, it was an eye-opener!!

Re: Hello from Ireland!
Well you know Galway is wetter than wet but yes the sparkle paints sometimes go gooey.
