mark reid signature brushes
I bought a nr 4 and a nr 6 a while back, but i must say, i'm not impressed... ok, they work for the backwards teardrops, but they don't have a nice fine tip, so in my opinion they're not very usefull... still prefer my da vinci's so far...
Have any of you bought the mark reid brushes, and what did you think?

Re: mark reid signature brushes
I have a love/meh relationship with my Mark Reid brushes. Mark makes a "flat" edge and uses that to get very fine points. When I remember to do that, they work wonderfully. When I forget to do that and use them like my fine-tipped pointy brushes, I'm bummed.
My main quarrel with those brushes is that they don't keep a point nearly as long as some of the other brands. They're not super spendy, but I have some $2 brushes that have seen far more gigs and have lasted much longer. I'm not super hard on my brushes, either, and take loving care of them.
