Business Name question

I am starting up a glitter tattoo business and had a a couple of ideas for names that I thought I would run by you guys and get an honest opinion. Here are the main 2 that I came down to

Glitterologie or Glittertastic Tattoo

My tag line would be something like " adding a little sparkle to your life one tattoo at a time"

Any thoughts on either or should I go back to the drawing board? TIA for any insight!

Choosing from what you have there, I'd say "Glittertastic". I'd leave off the Tattoo part, there just too many T's in it....or how about "Glittertoo" !

I would leave the t out: Glitterastic!

Thx for the feedback, I like glittertoo but it's a business that sells glitter tattoo kits. Man this might be the hardest part of getting this thing off the ground! I have my marketing plan together and am so ready to get my logo design done so I can put it in motion but without the right name I don't want to move forward. I just don't know if Glittertastic is right for me, will have to keep thinking. What about Glitter Diva Designs, that way I could also use it for other creative interests if I choose to.

Or just The Glitter Diva and drop the designs part?

Ooooo, The Glitter Diva! I like that. but I like Glittertastic, too.

How about "GlitterGlam"?

I like Glitterologie but maybe spelling it "Glitterology"? Makes it look sort of science-y.

I do like Glitter Diva but the down side is it's hard to target the males with a name like Glitter Diva. JMHO.

Don't worry about having the same name as another business at this point. Unless they are in your area, it doesn't matter. Pick some business name and google it. You'll usually find a number of businesses with the same name.

Thanks for all the feedback! I ended up picking Glitterology, having the logo drawn up now and hope to get my marketing material started by next week. I have a party I am doing this weekend so it will be nice to have a more professional approach when I go in.

That's a good name. Its straight-forward and easy to spell. If you get too creative with the spelling, it may be hard for people to remember and search for you online. What a great logo you can have with that name! Can't wait to see your business materials!

What if you choose a name that someone else has in the same state but over 300 miles away? I would think that it is okay, many mom-n-pop stores in different cities have same names.
