Design template
Hello,
Just looking for a past post about using a blank face template and then using publisher or paint to digitally draw the design on the face. I think from memory it was a butterfly? I have searched 'design template' using the search function but can't seem to find the post i am after. Does this ring any bells for anyone? Much appreciated if anyone can copy the link.
Cheers

Re: Design template
Hi search faces and or practice faces,
my computer isnt letting me copy and paste the links... Lonewolf has a template and Shannon Fennell also does on her website that she shares.

Re: Design template
I have a vector face template that I use in Illustrator to draw over. I forget who originally posted it, but I love it! Just let me know what filetype you'd like and I'll send it to you.
Here's what it looks like with the drawing on top:

Re: Design template
That is awsome, I've been looking for a template for quite some time. I love this one. Thanks a bunch Janna.
Re: Design template
I fell in love with the template idea! I downloaded Illustrator and the pdf template..and...totally lost!
Does the program have painting tools I don't see? I don't understand how you created such a beautiful butterfly to go over the face template and the typing to go under the picture. I have a festival tomorrow and was going to work all night on making templates because I have a teen helper and we have different painting skills. I'm pretty computer literate but I'm stumped! Thanks for any help:) Everyone on this forum is great!

Re: Design template
OK...I had a brain fart!! Evidently the program comes with another "bridge" program and I opened that by mistake. Duh! NOW it's making sense!

Re: Design template
Ha ha...George Clooney, that's awesome!! I've actually used photos of kids' faces with nothing, then laid a piece of tissue paper over it and painted with actual face paint on the tissue paper. Then I scan the painted paper, and put it on a new layer in Photoshop over the face photo later...then switch the layer mode to "multiply" and it'll take all the white off and looks pretty realistic! (probably makes no sense if you don't use Photoshop, but if you do, that works great!)

Re: Design template
Thank you so much for giving us this template Janna! Here are a few of mine. I really like the idea of using them when I have several people painting that are at different levels. I'm thinking of using the different tiger designs to illustrate my 3 different pricing points. ($5, $7, $10)
(Thanks Denise)
Thanks again!!

Re: Design template
Oh I like these tigers. I tried to paint tigerstripes too but I think I have to download some special brushes.
Does anyone like to share the colored illustrator templates.
I would like to do that. Think we all donĀ“t have to work so much, if we can do so.
Ok thinking also that you all can do this faster and easier ;-)
