Okay maybe adding tats
So now that I'm set up to do certain weekends down at this campground at the dells, I'm thinking I need to add glitter tats.
This sub section is really hard for me to search for some reason. Anyway, instead of a kit I'm thinking of just ordering some stencils, some glitter and some glue.
Do most of you brush on or poof?
I'm not going to offer a whole lot of choices to begin with just a few. What do you charge? and how to you display yours?
Can I ask for the negative image from ABA? I couldn't get signature glimmer's site to load to see what they had to offer and faketoos I didn't really like.
Thanks so much!

Hi
This subject is new to me too..... Ive been on amazon and ebay looking at stencils/glitter...glimmerart seems to have some good stuff. (amazon) theres a thread here about pricing..looks like 2 to 8$ depending on tat. full arm i saw was 15-20. I was looking for the difference in nail art glitter which is cosmetic and glitter tattoo glitter which is also cosmetic... Metina sells tattoo glitter in larger sizes if you keep scrolling thru the glitter for tattoos section of the forum shop...Keep reading and I will be checking here for more answers too... Good luck

My best advice is: get a kit that cost about $25 dollars, it has the glitter, glue and a few stencils, buy a few individual of the most popular for girls and boys (3 of each) and then you see what sells better, get a black mica only for now, if you have the time you can cut some yourself by hand, (it hurt fingers for some people).
I carry them in a binder and you can find displays here in the forum with pictures and a lot of ideas.
you can start charging $3 dollars each and if you do good considerer investing in a cutter machine instead of buying tons of stencils.

See "cutter machine" that is a like telling my husband, yeah I think I'll go get an iguana, it'll only grow 25 feet long. He will never go for that one.

I did my first birthday party and there was a waterslide in the jumper house so a lot of the children wanted glitter tats instead of FP, I had bought some Tulip stencils and glue and glitter and to be honest, it worked fine. I did pretty much equal boys to girls..dragons, guitars, spiders, flames for the boys and flowers, hummingbird, owl, vampire lips for the girls. If you use the 40% off coupon its worth trying. My only complaint would be cost and removing the top sheet of plastic and of course the selection.
Re: Okay maybe adding tats
I would buy a starter set from one of the companies because you get a variety of stencils and then you can supplement with some favorites like roses and fairies and dragons. Shawna D. found a great company that had a whole starter set for a very reasonable price...I'm not sure if it came with stencils. I'll try to dig it up.
I prefer the poof bottles with the enlarged opening. I'm weird about lids with the jars. The scraping sound bugs me and they're the only ones I've had a kid dump on me. It's really hard to dump a poof bottle.
I got my kit from ABA and I've really liked it. The stencils weren't fabulous but it was good variety.

Here's the video that talks about it but the website for signatureglitter.com is down for me right now. The Facebook link works but I'm not sure if they are still in business. I like the clear bottles and she says there are 200 stencils. I guess I should have bought some when I had the chance.

Re: Okay maybe adding tats
You can start very conservative($50 dollar starting kit) about glitter tats, and if you do about 10 paid you already got you money back, In my PPF gig I don't sell them very much, I charge $4 dollars and I do 3 or 4 at day, (people think they are expensive) but sometimes I got a bunch of teenegers getting them.
I do a lot of them in birthday parties and Corporate events when you get FP or Glitter TT, my customers think that is a great service and makes me different from my competence (here they charge a lot of more for the tattoos, stencils are very expensive 1.5 euros each)
If they are a good seller "Cutter Machine" translation SILHOUETTE CAMEO for me is not a crazy word, if we do the math, each stencil will cost you between .30-.70 I have 120 different designs and 3 stencils of each that would be $150 invest itself, and don't count the time you spend looking for the better price, or they sell only 10 of each, shipping etc. Last weekend I had girly party and I took only 40 designs with me and 2 stencils of each, I did 30 tattoos that single party would pay for half of my cameo.

Good advice from above =) I did the hand made wrote and my fingers will never forgive me. Im making the executive decision to buy this for myself. I learned a really good saying last week and now it is my motto. "You DO YOU". I will work on myself. I know marriage is a two party commitment, but you both have needs I think its important if you want this and will make you happy, you should get it.
IMHO this is the ONLY way to go. Buy a Cameo. I know i wont regret it.
