Ohio Face Painters! Where you at??

I've been talking to Krafty Karen about getting a bunch of us together to jam and/or form a NE Ohio Face Painter's Guild, but I think all the Ohio facepainters are either down south or under Lake Erie rocks. If you are in the NE Ohio area, please let me know of your existence so that we can hopefully get something going here!

I'm down by Cincinnati, but I make regular trips to Cleveland to take the Parents to the Clinic there.
Know where Wilmington is? The DHL hub that closed...former bengals training camp....etc.

Im a total noob, but im in the eastside cleveland area. I have no problem driving to the west side for any jams. My friend google and I talked and found the north eastern ohio face painters blog. Is your guild one and the same? They meet in parma once a month for a jam, I have messaged them to find out if anyone can join, but I haven't heard back from them yet. It would be awesome if they say yes.

I am in Southeastern Ohio, Gallipols. Really would love to find some Ohio Face painters to get together with.

cleveland is about 1.5 hrs from me. not to bad if I got someone to go with me. =0) Im in erie.

I don't know your name, but I would like to invite you to pop on down to Parma on the first Wednesday in may for the N.E. Ohio Face Painter's Guilds monthly jam session. One of our members Marjorie Funk is a face painter in Canton as well. We're a cool group of nutcases...I mean ladies and it's always a good time. We get together and paint the restaurant patrons and each other and even band together to help out some local charities as a guild. We are always on the look out for new members. We're not a teaching guild, but we do host instructors and occassionally share a new technique or two.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll be sure to send you an invite when I put out the next newsletter. We have some older issues of the newsletter online, but we've gone to a formal website so i the blog hasn't been updated in a while.

I know this is an old string of posts, but I am a newbie in north central Ohio. I would love to find some jams and I would love to network with some people willing to help me with larger gigs I might have coming up.

I'm in the very Northeastern corner of Ohio, right on Lake Erie and the Pennsylvania border. I'm a total noobie though, have my first paid gig (where I get to keep all the money!) in a couple weeks. I have done lots of free face painting and have also done it for charity purposes, and I'm always approached by parents wanting to know if I do birthday parties...but so far have always told them I'm not a face painter, I'm just winging it. I am a cake decorator so I'm decent with artwork anyhow, need to get an airbrush for face painting instead of just for cakes now lol. I'm finding out very quickly that this, much like cake decorating, can be an addictive and expensive hobby! lol

Any new fun in OH??

I'm in Columbus. Just began my business. Would love to find a group of mentors. I have tons of questions. What's the best way to form an LLC?
(lawyer, legal zoom, on my own) Anyone have a good tax accountant in CMH? What about business liability insurance, what companies offer the best rates? I could go on and on.
