My semi-brilliant idea

I have a family that refers me to others a LOT. I have gotten a good half a dozen gigs out of this lady telling her friends about me.

As a thank you, I sent her this.



What did I get? Within two weeks I got two more referrals, a hookup with an event coordinator, plus I went into a restaurant to get dinner, turned out her husband worked there. I got two free dinners!

I just thought it was cool that they were so appreciative and to be so high on their list of people they like to do business with.

Yaay, it is always lovely to be appreciated.

I made a coupon one for a festival. They had all the area business donate coupons and small toys which they put in ziplock bags and buried them in 100lb. of sand. All the kids were let go to dig at one time to dig for their treasures. It was over a year later that they finally turned in the coupon.
