Help with words please to recontact past clients
Hi big kids
I need some help with wording to send to past clients. I want to email past clients to say: I know a birthday is coming up and I want you to rehire me. I have new designs and I now do glitter tattoos.
Can someone who is clever with this stuff help me?
Thanks x

Good I need this letter too, I haven't do it because I think people won't like to have the same birthday again, I feel like I am pushing them and I am so afraid to be rejected, but I want to try.

This is what I use my postcards for. There is only a certain amount of space to write so it makes it relatively easy to do.
So if a birthday is coming up... you could write:
It was a pleasure to be at your birthday last year! Please keep me in mind for your upcoming celebrations - I have lots of new designs and GLITTER TATTOOS!!!
If a corporate client:
Thank you for your past business. Please keep me in mind for your upcoming events - it is never too early to book!
The short messages make the point, are personal, and the postcard shows off your work and offerings (or it should!)

Re: Help with words please to recontact past clients
I can't believe that many seem to be waiting almost a full year before making contact with past customers! There are so many other opportunities throughout the year when they could book or recommend you, that allowing them to forget about you is like losing money.
I believe that you should be in touch with them immediately after the booking. There are a number of ways to do this but you would also ask them if it's OK to send occasional updates on your services, new designs, news about local appearances etc. Once you have this permission .... you can and should send regular emails. This is so easily done to your entire list with an autoresponder ... but make sure you are not 'selling' the whole time!
Then you will remain 'top of mind' when ever they consider the kinds of entertainment you offer.
As well as broadcasting new launches, updates, themes and news to your 'list' .... you may then choose to send single personal emails to specific clients too.
Building relationships in this way means that you don't have to feel that you are being pushy or have any fear of rejection. You are simply informing them, as a valued client, of all that's new.

Ugh, I have hundreds of postcards that act as business cards/flyers... I never even thought to use them as a reminder for past clients. I suppose I could still send them out, it just wouldn't be as personal...
I tend to just email the clients back and tell them I had a great time and I hope to help them celebrate for years to come... is that too forward? lol Oh well, it's worked so far. I just make sure I don't send anything to the clients I didn't like haha

Why wouldn't they be personal? You would handwrite a message on them that is personal...?

Re: Help with words please to recontact past clients
Because I made them up like flyers lol, I wasn't about to spend $40 on 25 sheets of paper so I got 100 mini flyers for free (god bless Vistaprint lol).
The front has quick info like my business name, number, email, website and the back has booking info, general info, and facebook url for 10% off coupon.
No room for writing there...
