Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
Hey! If you live near a Menards, the Plano rolling tool box is on sale this week for 49.99. I love mine, you can only get them at Menards This is the one Suzy has, she turned me on to it, and I highly reccomend this one! Its great!

I have one too, and I had my dad bring it to TN frm WI! It was definitely worth it, and if I was near one, I'd get another, just to have on hand.
Hmm. Maybe I should send him to pick it up and hold onto it until he comes back down later next year....

Well I love the one from Menards,, it alot lighter than the fat max.. and has 3 drawers that slide out..if you use a table the one from menards if perfect to set beside you.. It is also taller than the fat mx. I like the fat max too..but its to heavy for me to put in my car..my husband has to load and unload for me..I do like the fact that you can work out of both tool boxes..

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
yes you should be able to get 3 lap top cases in the bottom and then some..i don't carry my water in my boxes..but when i use the one from menard i can put 2 cases.. i don't have the lap top but the sterilite ones and I can put 2 in the bottom part, and sponges my book lots of stuff. I used the top drawer for extra paint..the middle was for glitter and things and the bottom drawer drawer i put a silver ware divider in it and put my brushes in that...in the top part of the case i have my insurance papers and a small calendar,, I also put my pressed powders in that part,, and a few samples of pictures for reference baby wipes and other odd and end stuff

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
barbb... my fatmax "Maxine" is heavy, too. I used to try to get anybody I could find to load and unload for me... even passersby... but after having to do it on my own so much I am happy to say that I must have developed some muscles from it because I can now do it with much more ease.
And now I have three different kits going. Maxine for larger events 'cause it has everything I could ever need, a Joy Mangano soft suitcase with drawers for medium events, and then I also use the matching flight bag from that luggage set for my small birthday parties. Oh, and I also have a little mini kit in my purse.

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
Looking for suggestions on an smaller ez set up for a possible "gig" at a grand opening of a high end auto repair and customizing shop... Ive looked at Plano and I actually love the fact that it has the drawers and prefer the color, but cant locate them here in Las Vegas(i thought we had everything). I lalso like the fatmax, but ready for that level of painting set up yet... Thoughts????
Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
I recieved the Plano box today as a birthday/mother's day gift! I am soooo happy!! Completely in love with the fact that I have room to put everything now for my festivals and bigger parties. And heck I might even take it to the birthday parties that are outdoors. Just bring my two chairs and this and I am set!

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
Hi does anyone set up on top of their Plano instead of using a table as well??? If so, I'd really love to see photos of this - please. I thought I saw suzy's set up like this on an old thread ages ago but I can't find it!

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
suzy did have a set up on hers but she had all her paint in a bead case..I find that when the lid is open and you put to much on it,, its kinda tippy..
but if you just put 1 laptop on the top and work out of the drawers might work I would as suzy. i use to work out of mine with a small table and sork out of the drawers

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
I'm planning to set up two chairs for now and work out of the top/lid of it. I am not going to have everything set up on top of it. Just my paints, water, brushes, and sponges and mirror. I will leave everything else in the drawers for when I need it. I'd like to be able to get a tall chair to stand up and paint the children in, but until I make some more money, my setup for now will work. I think it will work awesomely for sitting or standing. I hope! I'll take a pic tomorrow, but here is the old link. http://www.facepaintforum.com/t3631-my-super-fantactic-face-painting-case?highlight=Looking+for+a+carrying+case+for+all+my+supplies

Re: Plano Rolling Tool box On Sale
I have this case (ordered it online) and it wonderful. Nice and light but very sturdy. In the bottom I have all my books, sponges, stencils, wipes. In the bottom drawer I have extra paints, middle drawer has brushes, top drawer has all my split cakes/rainbow cakes. In the top section I have all of my palettes - a starblend palette, a couple snazaroo palettes, mini wolfe palettes and some hand mirrors... I think that's it. I have my practice head hanging in a bag off the side...
