Question- Empty Question-

Post by Jenn Doll Tue Apr 10, 2012 7:48 pm

I just got my glitter supplies... using Glimmer glue... free handed a peace sign... later on peeled it off... totally ripped my skin off, it will be a week tomorrow and I am still sporting a red skin peace sign....

I am a bit scared to do them now... help!

How do you get yours off. When you "tat" people at a gig, do you send them home with "how to" get them off??

Thanks in advance, you guys are great!

for festivals I have "care cards" for my face paint, glitter tats & henna printed up that I hand to each customer. And.......While I am doing the glitter tats, I'm talking to them about how to take care of the, how to take them off using alcohol to take them off....etc. etc. etc.......

I have always used prosaide....which removes with baby oil although, to get it off my brush bristles, its alcohol. I just bought glimmer glue and love the bottle and consistency...it seems thicker. Gonna have to do the removal test. I agree with Linda....always TELL model and parent how to remove what ever you are putting on them. Info on cards is good too. Be sure to have it on your site as well .....If its not printed on your cards, tell them to find the directions on your site ;o) Ouchie on the boo boo!

You "peeled" it off? WHY? Did you use baby oil or alcohol to dissolve the glue?

Those adhesives are medical grade meant for holding skin together... just ripping them off... well, NOT recommended!

And the point about glitter tatts with the adhesives is that they are left on and last for a week!! If you want something to be removed use link n' stick tatts.
