Trade show today

Went to a business to business show today, wasn't vending, but just to look. Got offered a 9-5 three days a week job for the summer. Reception work can't compare with PAINTING!!! Wouldn't work with my traveling, but it felt so good to have someone notice me as a valuable person! yay.

Look into your local chamber of commerce- it is a great place to find out what the businesses are up to in your area (beware some chambers are better than others) You meet great people and they help support the business side of your venture (I think we all know where you can go for painting support! FPF!!!)

I just joined a local chamber which has a business sharing event coming up. I'm setting up a table just to show other local businesses what I do. There was a small charge for it, but I think this is a great idea - advertise to the places that might make use of you.
