FABA TV Subscription- Worth it?

I am curious if anyone out there has subscribed to Faba TV and found it worthwhile, either the monthly or the annual subscription. Seems a bit pricy considering there are free tutorials out there on youtube that can assist with particular designs.

Id love to hear your thoughts..

I have been subscribed for about a month now. I just went ahead and subscribed for the whole year. I like the fact that some of my favorite artists have classes on there, I can't travel to their workshops at the moment ,so it is nice to watch these. The classes are about an hour long ,so more in depth than the average tutorial. For me it is well worth it.

There is no disadvantage to signing up for a month. You can cancel it just a few days later and it extends until the month anniversary (just don't go over, someone said they signed in after they cancelled and it renewed automatically.)

If you signed up right now you can see two Pashur classes, two Mark Reid, three Lynne Jamison, four Marcela, four Wolfe Brothers, Jay Bautista, Christina Davison, Lisa Joy Young, Margi Kantor, etc. etc. It's like a whole convention for $30.00...why wouldn't you?

I've unsubscribed for a time because I want the classes to build up but then I'm signing up for a year. You can't beat the up close and personal nature of the classes. Much better than trying to see from three rows back at a conference.

Just do it while they are still letting us see the whole archive.

I love FABATV...I signed up for a year and have learned soo much and like everyone else..I can't seem to get to a convention...they always fall around a festival ....sooo I like this and my daughter takes advantage of these classes as well....I think it is worth every penny.

I signed up last month on a month to month basis. Still rewatching classes! Good value for my money since I really can't take time off from my job for classes.

I have been signed up for only 1 week and I have watched all the videos that I find interesting. I don't know if it is worth signing up for the whole year I have it on monthly and don't find enough videos to keep me interested. I will do a couple of months and then not renew . I am hopeful that I can renew at a later date once they have a new selection of videos and then I will renew my subscription. I don't know if it will allow this or not but I will see. Hope this helps. Lori and yes it is pricey.

I was able to catch one of the free faba tv live shows the other day and really enjoyed it.. My question....can you upload any of the shows for future reference?

Vegas Mom--I took photos on my phone for my own use only on points I wanted to review/remember--works better than handwritten notes for me & it's quick an easy.

I watched it on my Ipad and was able to take a couple pics with the finished face at the end...my ipad is getting full of great idea pics tho between the utube videos. thanks

You can Alt+PrtScn the final product and bring it into a image program. When you subscribe to FABAtv it's unlimited watching but there is no download. That's smart for them because it would only be a matter of time before there would be a knock-off site hosting all their videos.

I LOVE my fabatv subscription. I'm doing month to month right now, but I'm considering changing to yearly because they are offering a $50 silly farm gift card!

I don't even watch the free ones on youtube, so I can't see myself using fabatv at all. I don't learn well from watching ... more from doing it and hearing suggestions. The class I took with the Wolfe brothers was fantastic, they walk around the class and see what you're doing and make suggestions... I can't develop any kind of technique or skill just watching something.

I got my FABAtv subscription last month. I am REALLY enjoying it. I am such a newbie, that I am soaking everything in. I have watched and rewatched some of the same classes, and can tell how my technique is changing.

If you are wanting to see pictures, on the FABAtv Facebook page, look at the album. I saw all the iCandy pictures of the finished product.

I'm a visual learner, signed up for 1 month and learned a lot!

If you sign up for a month can you watch all the videos from when they first started up or just the current ones?
Also, is it a dealers demo? I always find their videos a dealers demo for all their products.

You can watch all the videos that is there. Each instructor first shows the products that they are using and there is also a list of products for each class. They all like different things and don't try to sell you anything.

You can actually go to their website and check which classes they have. You won't be able to watch them but at least you can see what are you going to get. Some of the classes worth $30 bucks each IMHO.

Not dealers demos AT ALL. (except for the girl that makes the BAM stencils). They are 100% technique and SO awesome! Pashurs spiders an scorpions class.. and ALL of Mark Reid's classes are worth 30 bucks a piece.

I signed up the 1st time for a couple of months..Im not able to go to a convention this year,,so i signed up again for a year and got 60 dollars worth of goodies...and I like the fact of being able to watch them over again as much as I want to..i think it is well worth it...

I don't think it is worth a years subscription at all. I am like Perry, a hands on learner! I learn so much more in a classroom ! However if you are at a point where you have the basics down, then getting a one month subscription a couple of times a year is the way to go. During your slow season , get a month's subscription , get caught up, practice and get some new /fresh ideas

I'm enjoying my year subscription but lately I have found little time to watch. I think I will just do the monthly thing in the slow times next time around.

I go monthsly and just did this months new ones! I really love it. I do the class and rush right into trying it so I get both hands on and visual. These pics all came from classes this month and all in the same day lol.

But are they still "new and fresh" when everyone who watches them now does them?
