cute rattlesnake!

Have fun! Your snack will probably be better as you'll be using a stronger black than the eyeliner she was using...her colors didn't seem all that vibrant.

I think Aprilmoonflower was planning on just painting the snake and not copying their dietary tendencies!

hehe. in the southwest they serve bbq rattlesnake in some parts.

this is actually a wolfe brothers design... you can get their Animals book, this design and several other great "wild" designs... I really like the chameleon myself...

hmm.. that depends... some are, like the chameleon... and others.. like the t-rex, would take a while. Others, like the wolf, can be done quickly if you leave some of the detail out of the equation. I havn't seen the new one just yet

I ordered those 3 Wolfe books and they should be here anyday. Their Wild Faces book is fun... but not sure how realistic they would be for long lines. Maybe someone with more experience would be able to whip some off those designs out but I'm no where near that. I did 2 paintings from this book, my avatar and the lion that is in my gallery.... what a blast they were to paint!

You CAN modify the designs for real world painting ... the skulls, the wolves... but you do have to cut out a lot of the detail and pare them down to get them done in 5 minutes.

You Can do them Judy, but like Shannon said, they have to be modified. I like to do them more for private parties & functions, where your gonna have the extra time, or pay per face somtimes.

I still haven't tried the rattlesnake yet as DS scratched his face all up between the cat and a tree branch the other day..waiting until the scratches heal..

I tried the dragon that Heather (silly farm) has on you tube....it was a disaster! Handling that size of brush definitely takes some skill!! The kid loved it but I sure wasn't impressed! Guess I should practice it once or twice before I subject an innocent bystander to my poor memory! lol
