First two gigs Booked! YAY and YIKES! [pic heavy]
Yeah. I just got my business license last week and I have two bookings. One for two hours at a birthday party. And a restaurant PPF deal for a local irish restaurant for four hours. Both are on St.Patrick's Day (this saturday)! The restaurant owner said he's gonna just hook me up with a section in his restaurant, I can put out a tip jar, and he's gonna feed me. He says that his customers will tip really well. I'm soo excited but at the same time a bit FREAKED!
Hopefully all goes well.

I have a few more but I have to put the black background on them. I could do with some more designs for boys and men.
I'm working on a simple celtic triangle knot. So much running through my mind.

Definitely after these two gigs I'll have samples where it's not just my son that's the model.

Fantastic! It's wonderful that you have taken the step to make a business out of it, quite often you will get at least one or two gigs off of most of the bookings you get.
Hope its all good from here in.
Totally off the subject, how do you get your name over the top of the photo without it having a background behind it?

I cant say I've ever heard of that (gimp)!
Is it a professional product or something you can download off the net?

It's almost identical to photoshop but it's free! You can download it for free online.Beeja wrote:Thanks!

I've only been using it for a couple months and i got the hang of it already. There's lots of tutorials on YouTube that'll help you out to. I use it to make advertisement flyers and to darken around my designs like the pictures above.
