Help, Please - Would you do this event?

There is a 4 hour event that a marketing organization is putting together for kids and their parents for Easter time at a school. I would get a booth, but would have to bring my table and chairs if I didn't want to pay $20 on top of $100. Part of me thinks it would be good exposure. I need to decide today. Any thoughts?

Are you going to be doing ppf? If so, $100 is a really good price for a four hour event.

Then do it. This is a really good opportunity. You should be able to make your money back, and it is a really good marketing opportunity.

Oh yeah!!! Do it!! And be sure that marketing is one of the key things you do (besides face painting, of course). Have those business cards front and center, right near where parents stand to watch their children get painted. I usually fan them out on a table, and as I chat with the parents, I even offer up that I do parties, etc. and to please help yourself to a card. I market just enough to be conversational and not pushy, and then I get back to chatting in an entertaining way again. PPF at a booth is a great way to book future business.
