Paradise Metallic?
So I've searched the old topics and I didn't really find anything about Paradise's metallic paint except that the blue is not the greatest.
I love love love Paradise. I kept my pallet open and the smell (which really didn't bother me that much) went away within a week or so. I love how the paint is soft on your skin and doesn't feel tight at all and doesn't flake. Whereas when I use the TAG I have it is tight and starts to flake.
I would really like to get a good variety of metallic paint, but I want bold colors so if the Paradise isn't worth it I don't want to waste my money, kwim?
Does anyone have any feedback for me?
TIA

My personal experience is that they're not bold. I really have to work their metallic silver to get any coverage. I liked JEST paint silver far more and it's also fairly creamy coverage.
Have you tried FAB yet from SillyFarm? It's a creamier paint, more similar to paradise than Wolfe/DFx/TAG and it does have a full line of metallics. They're reasonably bold, though not as bold as Wolfe/DFx. There is also a facebook group where people have swatched a lot of paint, so you can see colors. I know there's specifically one for TAG,

but I thought there was one with comparison colors in other brands, too.

Re: Paradise Metallic?
Thanks Julie. I had researched those a little but didn't find too much information. I can't get the facebook link to work.
Oh well, I guess they aren't popular for a reason???

You may have to be TAG's friend to see the pics:

Re: Paradise Metallic?
I would steer clear of Paradise metallics; much as I love the colours (and use the non-metallics a lot) I have had nothing but trouble with the metallics since they 1st launched.
I've sent back nearly every one I bought; they are very prone to being so crumbly they just disintigrate into tiny bobbles. I tried re-hydrating, even grinding down the bigger blobs and rehydrating too, but they still left little grains and blobs on the skin as you worked. Its not the supplier/ storeage as I bought from UK and HK shops... and I'm not the only one.
The Paradise metallic blue is almost exactly the same as DFX metallic blue, or Snazaroo Electric Blue, DFX Green is better than Snaz elctric or Paradise metallic.
Pretty much all their metallic apart from the bronze/ reds can be replicated in other brands and I much prefer DFXm it stays creamy and never crumbly!

Thank you for your help! I found some more information when I search Google and got some hits from the forum that way!

Re: Paradise Metallic?
Yes the Tag pearls are nice but again many are very similar to the DFX and I tend to buy DFX as they are cheaper in the UK. I love the pastel blue especially.
