What movies moved you?

I am a BIG movie fan, but can only admit to two movies that spoke to me. One was the movie "Alive" and the other was "Forest Gump".

Alive sent the message that my problems were nothing and that things could always be worse. But in a good way.

FG: We all seem to able to talk ourselves out of everything and he never did................and he did more than most of us could do in 5 life times.

The only one I can think of right now is Shindler's List.

A Walk to Remember moved me deeply. It showed me so much about what is important in life, truly important.

Spirited Away
animated master piece by Hayao Miyazaki

Beaches.... cried and cried.

Star Wars. Saw it at the drive-in on my 16th birthday... wow...!

Gaslight... scared the bejeebers out of me!

Casablanca.... We'll always have Paris.

PS I Love You - not the greatest movie ever but one I watched recently and sobbed my heart out. And fell in love with the lead actor - his Irish accent did it for me in the first five minutes!!!!!!

Have to say that right now, especially in the UK, real life makes me cry the most and frightens the hell out of me.

But to finish on a lighter note - "Only You" is a lovely rom com - really easy viewing; beautifully set in Italy; wonderful sound track AND the gorgeous Robert Downey Jr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved that PS I love you! He was hot... I'm always a sucker for the irish accent.

I still loved the movie Chocolat. Romantic, overcoming obstacles, and a little following one's dreams, and it had a fable mystic quality.

Recently I really enjoyed Ms. Pettigrew Lives For A Day. It was just good fun about unlikely characters being good for one another. Finding light in otherwise darkness and not comprimising one's true self just because of circumstance.

Love Story. Love means never having to say I'm sorry.

Paying it Forward (I'm not sure what the real title of that movie was)

I cried at both of these movies. These Movies left really strong impressions on me, I love goodie goodie movies.
