I'm in love with masks & am so happy the weather is cooling down a bit to start painting them again (this summer has been wayyyy to hot).

I am LOVING revisiting this thread! I've got a gig coming up for a Carnivale themed event (just found out I'm doing it TODAY and it's in about a week ) and I can't wait to get to practicing a variety of masks. Now to find a willing model .

Wow, gorgeous, fabulous, magnificent creations of masks I find here!

I haven't done that much masks yet, but they are very awesome to do!
Recently I even followed a class, and you can instantly see the difference.

So I like to show you something too!

This was my first mask ever, when I started facepainting:



Then I took a class, and well some of you have seen the result in the thread I started, called Bling Bling Masks, but here is it again anyway:



This week I tried to do one again, but the kids didn't want to volunteer, so I tried it on myself, but getting the lines right, is way more difficult!!!

Here are two masks a made on my hand (I didn't had a model available).

Here's my go-to bling mask. No matter how I attempt to change it up, I automatically "fall" into this design.

Very pretty masks ladies! I especially love yours Luvs to paint and yours to Nina! Need to work on my swirls and teardrops...I have never painted a mask yet.
