wrapping up the year...

ok, so I still have 5 or 6 more parties in December to do, but I'm starting to wrap up my financial stuff and was wondering how everyone did this year compared to years past? Do you find that the belt tightening is passing? I think I'll be close to double my profits from last year and I couldn't be happier with the increase! Still don't think I'll ever come close to a regular full time job income unless I become famous, but it's certainly nothing to sneeze at.

This year I've had some ups and downs. This month (November) was definately DOWN from last year. My summer was fairly decent, but Halloween/fall was much slower. While every penny helps, I'm hoping for a better next year.

I'm not too far from you Perry, and it seems to me that things are a little better across the board....not just for me but others in the biz too. Maybe not double, but definitely better.

That's good to hear, CrazyPainter! I'm getting the feeling that things are moving up, slowly, but definitely up. Some of it might just be the normal increase for my business being over 3 yrs old now, but it feels like more than just that.
