Garden Party????

Hi guys,
I have a booking for a company which I think sells althetic clothes.. and they are having an opening, and the theme is - A garden Party
So what the hell do you paint?? Flowers, birds, butterflies?? Slugs, biscuts?? LOL
NO NO No joke, seriously what would you paint?

Oh my goodness, never had that one. I would think you are on the right track. Maybe google Garden Party and you might get some ideas. Keep us posted/

Ohh I think of Afternoon tea, You could do little tea pots, multi coloured bunting, cup cakes, roses, a bit like a mad hatters tea party theme perhaps?

Mmmmmm... it sounds like a "tea party" for me, too. So I'd paint cup cakes, decorated biscuits, rainbows and tons of flowers and butterflies. Maybe like these:

I would think it would be flowers, butterflys birds. But having said that I would practice cupcakes and teapot too. As people here FPF told me at the oktoberfest that I should practice beer mugs. I thought who would want that on there face did a couple moved on.... I ended up painting about 40 little beermugs didn't I.

How about doing profile of a woman in a long frilly, flowing dress with a large picture hat that would hide her face... maybe holding a flower or a fan or a tea cup....

HAHAHAHAHA hilarious! I say. do what you always do. Maybe try 1 or 2 new designs with flowers, but people ALWAYS result back to your old trusty butterfly, spiderman, batman, ect.

If it is more geared to adults... maybe smaller 1 eye designs......

garden party conjures up images of butterflies, flowers, fine china tea cups, fairies, colourful lanterns hanging from trees, sunshine, blue skies, croquet/ cricket.....very english sort of themes....

Having said that, you will probably not paint any of those things and like manabanana said, you will probably be requested to do the old favs...spidey et al.

Hmmm...a company that sells athletic clothes....and the people coming to this garden party are....customers? retailers? wholesaleres? adults? children? - maybe you could ask them why the chose the garden party theme, that would give you insite on what to work on... Good luck...let us know how it goes - and try to get photos...we're all very curious!
