the simplest answer is practice...

learn to do your faces with minimal details when necessary,
sponging most of the design is the fastest way to cover and finish up with a few key lines.

I find designs that have the most wow with the quickest time are one-stroke and rainbow cake so you can avoid outlining as much and just add faces, stripes, teeth, flames, teardrops to make complete designs.

I bought a head and that helped me tremendously to make designs my own so that I could cut my times down. I've still got to practice my linework or get a better brush because if I want a clean line I'm still having to slow down a bit but it makes such a huge difference in the design.

I think sponging a base or using rainbow cakes and one stroke works really well for quick faces and like Perry said, just add in key lines where you need them. Make sure your paint has the right consistency to avoid jagged lines. Good luck. Smile
