NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
I used DFX white for line work and didn't love it so started using paradise white. Everything was great with my 1st disk of paint. Now I'm on to my 2nd disk it's just one big gloopy mess. I really love the paradise black it works perfectly. The white is a nightmare. It never seems to dry out. My line work with the white is either too thick with paint or just the opposite. There seems to be no happy medium.
I would really appreciate some tips on how to sort this.

I love paradise paint....just it isn't the best for line work. I stick to wolfe or tag for my lines (black and white, although I love Paradises for a nice base).... Wolfe and Tag has a waxier feeling and makes your lines more crisp. The paradise is creamier (love the consistency and smell ) but it gets muddy fast.
Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
I agree, but the paradise works great for double dipping, when you add it onto another color, or another color onto it on the same brush...I keep it in my kit for that alone!
Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
Paradise is a makeup with a high glycerin content which helps it with its blendability. I too use it for double dipping just for that reason. For lining, it's not very good. I have Paradise/Kryolan in my kit as well as DFX/TAG white for lining.

Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
I have a white section in my kit with 3 - 4 whites.
Wolfe for linework
Paradise for basework
TAG Pearl for shimmery bases
Kryalon(if I can't get my hands on Paradise) for basework
DFX UV for when I need a white that glows under blacklight(till it runs out then I'll switch to another brand... dfx has lost me as a client).

Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
curious to know why DFX has lost you guys as clients. I’m a newbie....so trying to avoid as many mistakes as possible. Thanks.
Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
I think alot of people went off DFX after the fake DFX scandal. here is the back story thread.

Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
I like Wolfe or Superstar Line White for line work. Line Black is Da Bomb, too, IMHO.

Re: NEED HELP WITH MY PARADISE WHITE
I have used Paradise since it was first introduced. A gloopy cake is just too wet, you are just using way too water. Always use it drier than you make think, I promise you can get bright deep color when sponging fairly dry. Jut make a simple creamy texture for brush work.
Any white will get some color in it when you are dipping from one to the other. But when the cake is drier it will not make the whole cake tinted. Paradise white will allow darker colors to bleed through but it will still create nice white lines. Parrafin based makeups like Wolfe will be more opaque with one stroke, and are great, but don't underestimate Paradise.
