Details: This challenge is for Sugar Skulls and this contest is for FACE Painting.
Ends Midnight Septemeber 30, 2011 Pacific Time.

Prize is $30 in product from this forum shop(This is issued as a $30 product discount code towards an order as shipping costs are not included in the prize.)


Rule1: Must show step by step of the design making sure to list products and tools used. All pictures or slides MUST be viewable in your post. Please do not include links to the photos. Please kindly show ATLEAST 3 photos.
Using a slideshow is recommended, but not a requirement. If you use the slide show, YOU MUST post a seperate photo of the final product also. Please do not include the music.

One way to do a slide show is through Imageloop.com

Rule 2: Please do not enter a design that is participating in another contest ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET or enter your entry into another contest ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET until this one is complete. Doing so will disqualify you.

Yeah!!!! We're doing sugar skulls for Halloween so will be great practice. I'm excited about this.

Aw man! I just did a really cool sugar skull on Friday- got FAB pics at the end, but didn't take any steps. boo.

Aw man!!! I wish I had seen this sooner! LOL...I did my first sugar skull yesterday and posted it in General section....my mom even took pics of the process!!!

This will be so much fun! I've been wanting to try one, maybe this will get me more motivated to find the time.

Love this I have been playing with sugar skulls a lot lately! I am very excited for this one...I am going to try and make it as different as possible!!

Ok so newbie silly question here, what the heck is a sugar skull as opposed to a normal skull?

Sugar Skulls are a popular symbolic part of the Mexican Holiday of remembrance known as 'Day of the Dead'. It has become kind of a trend in art/make up in America as of late, tattoos, etc.

the things we learn through face paint forum, huh?! I had to do some research to learn more about them through this contest also. And even more recently 'steam punk' came up in a thread and I just learned about that through here as well! Thanks FPF!!
