Details/Rules/Prize

Details: This challenge is for Tribal Designs and this contest is for FACE and BODY Painting. I will ask members to weigh heavily how well you "taught" the technique in your step by step in addition to the final product when voting.

Ends Midnight August 31, 2011 Pacific Time.

Prize is $20 in product from this forum shop(This is issued as a $20 product discount code towards an order as shipping costs are not included in the prize.)


Rule1: Must show step by step of the design making sure to list products and tools used. All pictures or slides MUST be viewable in your post. Please do not include links to the photos. Please kindly show ATLEAST 3 photos.

Using a slideshow is recommended, but not a requirement. If you use the slide show, YOU MUST post a seperate photo of the final product also. Please do not include the music.

One way to do a slide show is through Imageloop.com

Rule 2: Please do not enter a design that is participating in another contest ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET or enter your entry into another contest ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET until this one is complete. Doing so will disqualify you.

If I participate, is there then again a discussion?
I will go through with a practical head, if it is permitted.
Otherwise I cannot participate. I would like to have clarified that before.
Not my work is made again bad, only because I do not paint on a human face. I do not understand that yet why me none before the voten said.

Its says Face AND Body... so you can do it on the body instead. You don't have to do a face design. Not sure I understand what you mean.... and I don't know what happened before, but its no biggie for me at least.

I was just going to ask about the video part... there is not a special for doing a video instead of slideshow?? I would of done one last time but I didn't see that part, and wanted to try it this time??

You can do the tribal design on the face or the body.

I think the only big issue with painting on a practice head is the eye area.
Obviously a practice head will let you paint right over the eyeball where a real human would not..... apart from the fact it is much harder to paint the loose skin around the eyes on a real person then on a practice head.
If your design doesn't go over the eye it shouldn't be a problem.
I was the one that couldn't see how our dolphin design would work on a real person.... it was only because of placement and nothing more.

I hope you can understand me ok - as I know you are German and I don't want you to mis-understand.
I really liked your dolphin as I like all your paintings!

For clarification, when you enter a design, does it have to be your OWN design or can you interprete a photo, drawing, etc?
