It would be so much more efficient if the school would just collect a registration fee and use that money to purchase these supplies in bulk at cost, rather than having every family buy it at retail (and pay tax on it) from Wal-Mart. Ugh. This is the kind of thing that has our system so messed up.

I'm feeling super lucky suddenly Smile All three of my kids start this year...SK, Gr 1 and preschool. So far the biggest list, and it is 'requested' only is for the Senior Kindergarten class. They have asked if we can send a large box of ziploc baggies to hold artwork coming home, a large jar of hand sanitizer for our child to use and a box of kleenex with his name on it. Smile Off to count my blessings!
