Thanks! I use dry brushing alot on my murals. It kills the brushes though. I'm loving it in face/body painting. Gives a whole other dimension.

Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls
Ok, you guys are totally rockin it in the skulls department!!!
Here's my lil effort.
My sugar skull....this is my first attempt at one of these. Anyone else think it makes me look like I'm about 12 yrs old??? What's up with that??
The second is one I did specifically for my website. This is only my second attempt at a more traditional kinda skull. I can now see soooo many ways to improve on it thanks so all your amazing posts. Thanks.

Oh wow I love that Jenn!!!
I obviously need to getting going on some cool skull designs here because the only ones I've done have pretty basic compared to the amzing stuff I see here!

Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls
Here is my attempt on a sugar skull... never done one, and wanted to try it. Design inspiration was a mouse pad. I am pretty heavily medicated with muscle relaxers and pain pills bc of a back issue I am trying to get fixed, so it took me like an hour and a half! lol Sorry for the huge picture, this is the third time trying to get it up and smaller, and it is just beyond my capabilities at the moment. Pretty much just excited I am not drooling or having my kids video tape me whacked out so they can use it for black mail later...
Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls
Very first gig doing sugar skulls for a friend's wedding party
Halloween makeup a few years ago on the boi and I
Playing with an image out of the Tattoo Johnny book....next to an Autobot glitter tattoo practice, hahaha
Rebecca Anthony Design that I used scar wax and stage blood along the mouth "slit" so that it's built up. Unfortunately, you can't really see that from this pic and it was at the end of the night of wearing the makeup, so it's starting to thin out in areas.

Julie, love the mouths and teeth on your Halloween make up. And the bloody mouth on your sugar skull is scary!

Thanks! My daughter loves anything punky... I saw some halloween scary kind of designs like this and got the idea from them. It was really easy to do too!
Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls
I had just been trying to work on my skulls when this whole moving-vacation-moving thing happened in my life.
Here is my first sugar skull (inspired by Lisa Joy Young):
it's terrible, but I was rushed and it was my first
Here is my 2nd ever attempt at a skull:

Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls
Look, I'm late to the party again, but I wanted to share what my husband came home from work to today. lol
I wanted to change the normal sugar skull a bit.
Side view of the details
So...uh...yeah. There's my contribution.
