Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
I did my first full face skull the other day on my 3yr old....its a bit rough as I was just winging it and didn't think it though first. Also, it didn't help that my model kept falling ASLEEP with her head in my hand!! lol

Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
Oooh I only just spotted this thread!!
I was working on my skull today... heres what I came up with. I wish I had done more around the mouth but its difficult when she has run out of patience and is determined to spit and suck her lips.

Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
I have the usual skulls, but here is one I did on a friend's son over the weekend that wanted something different, so we did a dragon's skull. He got a big kick out of scaring people... lol
Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
Daizy - you and your daughter are amazing. I have a 3yr old daughter/5year old son and neither can sit there long enough for me to paint anything.. let alone painting them all the time for practice. And even when you paint an ugly skull on her she is still beautiful thur it!! Well done, beautiful work
Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
This is my first try with a skull. I already know of some of the changes I need to make!
Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
This is a kid who came by when I was working a fair. She worked in the Haunted House and was tired of wearing the mask. Its done in Paradise lime green and WolfeFX black and white.
For the art nazis, its pretty much a copy or an "inspired by" Wolfe Bros skull, but was done under working conditions (about 7 mins) with a lineup behind her. Not a model shoot, hence it's a little rough around the edges. I just thought it was awesome to get a pic of one with the reaper hood on.

Re: this weeks theme is? Skulls and Bones
I'm glad to see this thread, and Daizy - Thank you so much for the SBS! I tried it out and FINALLY I can do a skull that doesn't look like my son painted it on himself. I don't know why it was such a challenge, I just had such a hard time with Skulls.
Here's mine, inspired by Daizy-

Here is my first attempt at a skull. I still have no clue what I really want out of it. Maybe a different color would fit my style better. I've done the nose 3 different ways, but here is one pic
