How much to pay Glitter Tattoo help?

I am painting a festival in a few weeks and have someone doing the glitter tattoos for me while ipaint. Any idea how much to pay her? I am thinking a percentage of sales?

Family or friend?

I'd go with a pay per piece... make them keep the used stencils or their backing in a container, then count at the end of the day and pay based on the number done... which would be pre-agreed, of course.

Great idea thanks. If i were to charge say $5 for a tattoo how much would be a good amount to pay her? It is neither family or friend. Just someone i hired.

I asked my husband, who is a heavy equipment operator, a hunter fisherman beer drnkin kinda guy to do the glitter tattoos for me and he was like NO Way!! Lol

Keep in mind that the real cost for one tattoo it is about $2.50, for the average that cost a $.50 a piece, (the larger cost above $.70)add how much you want as a profit for yourself and pay her the rest.

I pay my daughter $10 per hour, she does the glitter and the airbrushing while I paint. We don't have to give her spending money anymore...she earind it! I doubt that I would pay that much if she were not my daughter!

I Like the pay per peice idea, but I would also want to specify that that person helped with set up, clean up, and all those things too. If I paid my daughter per peice, the clean up, set up conversation would not be a nice one in public!
