What is the verb for doing or having henna done?
My friends have asked me what is the verb for haing henna done...I told them that mehendi is the art of applying henna in decorative patterns to the body.
But HOW do we say..." I am going to be hennad today" or "i have been henned?"
Is there a more acceptable expression using the word mehendi or ????

I don't think there is an official spelling of the Henna with the D ending. She could say "I am going to get henna" "I am having henna today" "I am getting henna done" "It's my mehindi night" "I am having mehindi tonight" "I am getting mehindi" "I got mehindi" There are a few spellings of mehendi too.
I tend to use whichever spelling of the henna with a d as I can't ever decide which is right.
