'It's All About Me' girl bash! Fun gig! Pic heavy warning!

Oh my. My job is soooo hard sometimes! So the party was at a large Ristorante and featured vendors like super shoes, learn to pole dance, lotions, gyms, jewelry, tarot card reading, belly dancers and girl tools (such as pink hammers, etc...very useful and cheeky!) AND pumped up waiters! Think Chipendales or Playgirl guys serving hors derves and martinis and I even painted a bit on the naked sushi guy. In New York and Japan it's a fad/fun to serve sushi on naked ladies (not directly on skin I understand, but on leaves) like a serving tray. Seen this on TV, but not IRL. Did not actually see him with sushi on or anything but he seemed like a nice guy. Wild nite and the ladies love the paint and henna and the owner called today to tell me I made the party and she'd been getting calls about it! Now that makes me feel over the moon grateful and fantastic! So....here are the shots I had time to get and to share!

I wish the blue stones would have sparkled more...they photographed 'black' and they were aquamarine. Bummer. Doesn't this look like some kinda space dolphin?? LOL


Most of the arm/should art I did took seconds with a split cake and a black and white liner brush....3 dots of glue and push on 3 jems!


Super quick and she had a matching face piece done afterwards...sorry...didn't get a picture.

They did have a pro photographer there so I'm hoping that I can get some real nice portfolio shots when all is said and done!

Thanks guys! It was a really fun nite!! AND I will probably be painting Mel AKA Dragon Boy again in the future. He sat so well and really enjoyed the process.
The lion I cannot take full creds! I saw something like it on facebook but I didn't have reference material so mine looks very different, but it's inspired by someone who I don't know who it is. 2 of the dragons are inspired by, but again not direct copy of, the dragons in Malynda Tomassian's 'Flight of Dragons' book.

@Laura - With the arms, the ladies just ask for something pretty kinda like 'that girl had', and I ask if they are looking in the $10, $20 or up price range, they let me know, and then I kinda match with what they are wearing or ask them for color preferences and just make it up as I go. The abstract arm art is just ....well.....on the spot. No real theme or anything. Hope that answers the question!

I'll DEFINATELY do this gig again next year!! It was a stand out!

I'm studying your lion...I feel there's a wealth of technique to learn from just that one design...dots, swirls, blending, composition, rendering, flow, etc. etc!!!
