Just a share of 'lately' - pix heavy warning!!

So after the henna convention, I picked up my delivery from the border from Sillyfarm! All the materials for the following come from right here at FPF, Mehandi.com and SillyFarm! There has been TONS lately, but I'm just gonna go with my favs!

Did a B-day party and here are my favs for facepaint. I do both when I do a party, but of course it's the FP I'm still practicing so that's what I tend to take pix of right now!






So then last night I started fiddling with my black and white Wolfe paints - just loving the 'flow' of the paint and doddling on my arm...and THIS came out! I really like her...little 'darker' than my normal stuff....but she reminds me of the girl from Nightmare before Christmas!


Now back to my softer whimsy side!

I'm all over the place actually...

--green spider web, full freestyle...no plan...go where the paint takes me..

--White/black shady…no plan, but may have been back-of-my-mind inspired by the ‘drippy’ effect that Michelle H has been playing with that seemed to have appeared just before I was finished. Often I just let go and then my brain says, “Say Kim, didn’t this swish remind you of something you saw whenever?” and then my hand will vaguely head in that general ‘direction’…so it becomes an ‘inspired by…’ piece but actual photo was not used as a guide or anything and it’s more of the drippy than any part of the design itself.

--Unicorn tribal swish was just that….basic ‘fiddle’ with TAG unicorn I got from FPF that most would do but I liked the photo.

--Goth girl just fell out of my brain. I think that somewhere back there ¾ of the way through I ‘saw’ a bit of ‘Nightmare before Christmas’ in there so went with it.

--Water fae/mermaid was inspired by a fairy from Barbara Lanza, a fantasy illustrator but reworked to the point of unrecognizable. The only thing really was the pose… loved the pose but changed everything else.

--‘Dragon-Fly’ was inspired loosely by a sketch I had seen on the interwebs. Again…you would probably not even be able to see the resemblance, but the idea was not wholly my own.

I just did a ‘pin up’ elf/fairy that only the arms were inspired by a graphic and I just winged the rest. She has ‘chesticles’ so I did not post here or on my actual business site/fan page…just my personal facebook to share. Not sure if that would be kosher here so it’s not shared anywhere else.

Hope that is the answers you were looking for! If that was gibberish an you need more clarity, let me know….kinda tired and about to hit the sack!! LOL

Thanks guys! In FABAIC I'm pretty much henna bling assistant teaching and then learning FP tips and teaching henna as I go! I think I am a LOOONG way from teaching FP!! LOL
