Paradise pallette Empty Paradise pallette

Post by eva Wed Apr 27, 2011 5:53 pm

I am looking at getting on of the paradise 8 palettes to give paradise a try. Can anyone tell me how much paint is in or the general size of the case? I have looked everywhere and can't find any specifics on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They are like little eyeshadow pots. Good for sampling. Could probably do 2 parties with them.

Actually, I must disagree. I have these palettes and they go a lot longer than you think. There are 3 kinds of palettes, Basic, Tropical and Pastel. I started with the Basic Palette and practiced with it like crazy. It took quite a while to run out or even get to the bottom of one color. Of course black and white were the first to dwindle. I highly recommend these instead of the large cakes especially if you want to try them out.

Can any of you give me a size comparison on one of the single colors? A quarter? silver dollar? 2 " diameter? I am also afraid of the fragrance, I am very sensitive, however if I can't handle it, I will pass it to the woman who paints w me.

Eva I have one of the sampler palettes and one of the prisma cakes.

As far as size about the size of a half dollar maybe a lil larger

The scent annoyed me to no end...but I wanted to give them a fair try. So as per someone's suggestion I left the containers open and let them sit. Now I must say it did take a good long while maybe 4 weeks of them sitting open for the smell to dissipate but it did. It's no where near as strong as it first was. I mean now for it to really bother me I would have to like hold it up near to my nose.

I LOVE the smell of paradise! It smells like a tropical lotion and reminds me of going to the beach (the suntan lotion). I have Kryo, snaz, wolfe and paraise and the only one I have ever gotten a "This smells yummy/good" comment from was the paradise.

I decided to order mostly tag paints, which are also new to me, because I am afraid of the odor of paradise. I am so sensitive to smell, that i can literally get physically sick for days. Sore throat, runny eyes, sinus ear , throat infections. Sometimes things that smell really good at first can make me sick with prolonged exposure. However I did order one paradise in white. I will give it a try, if not I can pass it on. Thanks for all the help ladies.

The Paradise 8 color palettes will paint far more than two parties worth of faces.

While you do not notice all makeup brands contain fragrance. It is a common ingredient in the preservatives. Certainly some have stronger smalls than others.

Paradise while a stronger scent, different now that the original which was more tropical - is a kinder to your skin makeup. It does not contain the waxes the stiffer makeup have and it has aloe, coconut and green tea proven to be good for the skin. Made to in the USA compared to Asia (just saying if you want a strong economy shopping at home is a good start).
So if you have an option and can, Paradise is a great face painting makeup.

I ordered just the white to try out. I actually thus far do not mind the smell, but on my face could be a different story. It is nice, I may even invest in a couple more.
