There will be NO black henna at the conference. Anyone bringing black henna and applying it to people will be asked to leave the conference.

SOOOOOO excited to share....Gina Niemi has been added to the teaching lineup! We are so lucky to get her to come and teach and play with us!
Gina will be teaching 3 classes...

The classes are listed on the website, but scheduling will be happening soon, to help people better plan.

Sorry I missed this! Yes pre and post classes would be separate and paid directly to the instructors. I believe a couple other instructors are planning to do pre and or post classes as well. I will post the information for those as soon as I get them.

Eek - do you know who else is thinking of doing a pre-class? Or maybe don't tell me so I can take Pashur's and not have another decision to make, haha.

Pashur is the only one doing a pre-class.
Dutch Bihary is doing a post on special FX and possibly a second post class as yet unnamed.
Deborah Brommer is doing a post on Western Bridal Mehendi
and of course Pashur's has been listed up thread I believe.

Hey There! I am all registered and ready to meet up in September for the conference. I am looking into rooms and wondering if anyone would like to share a room with me (or maybe you need a roommate). I haven't gotten a room yet but on www.hotels.com the Days Inn which is right next door to the venue is $63 a night for 2 queen beds.

Any takers???

There is also an extended stay hotel across the street with little kitchens in them if people are interested in extending their stay or have dietary needs that require them to cook themselves.

@Wonderbrush, I would definitely consider splitting a room with you. My name is Julie and I'm driving up from Portland, OR. I am considering a pre or post class, not sure which, are you? I have registered for the event, but not for a room yet.

Yes there are a few different Marriott properties within 20 mins of the venue.

I get the luxury of having a parent dedicate 41 years to Northwest airlines, now he works for the Marriot so I get flight & hotel discounts! I would love for us to do a jam. I'm thinking after the Halloween rush

Kent is very close to the nearest airport. Only 8-10 miles away. I know that all of the hotels have shuttles. We have an excellent bus system and some of the hotels will shuttle you to places other then the airport.

There are many Marriott hotels nearby if you can tell me the ones you are most likely to stay at I can work on getting you correct transportation information. There is also a burger king and a sit down family restaurant across the street from the venue.
