My new table Empty My new table

Post by mickeyblue Fri Feb 04, 2011 5:32 pm

I found this table at Bass Pro Shop and love it. It comes with a carrying case and all fits right in. Want to share with you guys. The right tub comes right out and can be used in any creative manner. This is a small "camping table" and runs about $79. It is the perfect height. Has a towel holder on left and the grid behind works great. One can modify as needed. Anyway, I like it...pictures are quick and certainly would modify setup based on gig. The sign is not the one I use but hung it up where the "light" pole would be. It also has a trash net on right side and botton shelf to keep it sturdy and stuff off the ground. == Well I noticed I can't add pictures so go to my gallery and I will post them there.

Go to my Mickeyblue Gallery under Gallery and I put them there. I did not see how I could post an image any other way.

Cool! I like that the bucket keeps things from flying off the table. How heavy is it?

I like it! How heavy would you say it is? Do you paint sitting down? How easy is it to fold up? I'm always looking to improve my set-up. Smile

It is very easy to tote and folds up great...all fit right into carrying case so you don't have to worry about the legs popping open in flight. I am senior citizen...Ha Ha...and have no trouble lifting or carrying it. I will see if I can find exact weight but is no problem for me so you young things should have it made. Forgot to say...I prefer to stand when I paint (someone asked that question.)

Wowza! that's cool. 40x20 is just a smidge smaller than my coffee table. Definately going on my want list!

I have this table....or one dang close to it in our pop-up camper.
But I stand to paint and without me popping up the camper & getting it out, I don't think it is tall enough for me to use.

Hi Linda. You must be tall as I stand too and am 5'7". It is actually either the same height or taller than the FatMax I currently use. Well see, with time, if I like it as much as my FatMax. The FatMax can be heavy for me to get into my truck at times but love it too.

Post by AngieAnders Sat Feb 05, 2011 11:05 am

Thanks for the link! It really does look awesome, with the bag on the side, and racks for glitter, etc. Strange, the site says total weight is 15 lbs but one of the answers in the "question" section says it ways about 45 lbs. That's a big difference in weight. 45 lbs seems pretty heavy for an aluminum table though.

As much as I am drooling over this, I'm also wondering how long it would be to set up. Everything would need to be unpacked and placed on the table. PERFECT for longer gigs and festivals though!

I've seen this table before(we have a Bass Pro down the road..) but I always thought that it looked heavy. Is it light weight? or would I need to install wheels on it to drag it around?

The specs say 15 lbs. I checked amazon and there were a lot of variety in "camp kitchens" but this one actually looks the best out of all!

Height is a big problem for me. I stand too and am 5' 10". Someone had posted on here once upon a time that they'd cut tubes of PVC pipe and added them to the legs so it stood a little taller. One of these days I'm going to try that Very Happy

PS. Ashley, I'm loving the new Avatar!

Embarassed <--------blushin awwwwwwwww Heather Thank you so much for that. Every couple of months I blow(straighten) my natural hair out for a length check and to have the ends cut. I went natural a lil over a year ago and had all my relaxed chemically processed hair cut off. Now the back of my hair is down past my shoulders for the first time ever and is the healthiest it has ever been.

Thank you for noticing. Very Happy

I am so not used to seeing my face without paint on it in my avatar....lolol
